Music Learning in the Digital Age

By developing free and accessible online learning modules, the Fédération des harmonies et des orchestres symphoniques du Québec (FHOSQ) serves as the leading source of educational resources for concert ensembles and musicians across Quebec. As a provincial leader in supporting and developing amateur music-making, the FHOSQ launched this series of video learning modules to make musical activities more accessible to anyone interested in learning to play a musical instrument.

Committed to supporting and fostering the musical community, the FHOSQ has produced online training videos on conducting, as well as on learning to play wind and percussion instruments.

These learning modules were made possible through funding from the Ministry of Culture and Communications of Quebec’s Digital Cultural Plan, as well as remaining funds from the instrument-learning video modules developed through the ACEI Community Investment Program.
